Generadora Metropolitana, owned by AME and EDF, is an electricity generation company with an installed capacity of 1,067 MW in Chile, through four power plants strategically located within the Chilean National Electric System.

In the Metropolitan Region, it operates the Nueva Renca plant (379 MW); in the Valparaíso Region, Los Vientos (135 MW); in the Biobío Region, Santa Lidia (142 MW); and in the Antofagasta Region, CEME1, Chile's largest solar plant. In addition, the company has more than 1,000 MW of approved renewable energy projects.
