Santiago Solar

A leading solar park in the Metropolitan Region

The Santiago Solar photovoltaic park is located in the municipality of Til Til, in Chile's Metropolitan Region. It has a total installed capacity of 115 MW, distributed across the park's 360,000 panels.

Since it began operating in January 2018, the plant has prevented the emission of approximately 82,000 tons of CO2 per year, which is equivalent to the carbon dioxide that would have been absorbed by around 550,000 trees. AME is one of the creators of this project and is now its shareholder, alongside EDF.
